Why we sail:

The Sierra Model Yacht Club was formed in order to share the enjoyment of radio controlled sailboats, and to promote the hobby.

Pictured George Rush, Rick Moynahan, and Bob Kizziar.

Fairwind 900, and George's Magnum one design.

What we sail:

Boat racing is part of the fun of sail boating.

You get the slowest form of transportation, then you race it...

We currently sail Fairwind 900, IOM, ODOM's and Victoria Thunder Tiger. If in doubt bring your sailboat out or just come out and join us.
